 | Please note that while we normally ship out orders at least once a week, we are occasionally closed and at those times there can be a delay of up to a couple weeks. Order books and shirts by mail
We generally ship out books and shirts at least once a week. (Except that sometimes we're closed for a week or more at a time. Give us a call if you want to ascertain that we're open and will ship promptly.) We need to know:
1) your name and a daytime phone number or an email address, in
case we have questions
2) what books/shirts you want and how many
3) your shipping address.
Prices
The Teenage Liberation Handbook is $20.
Real Lives (2005 edition) is $18.
Freedom Challenge is $16.95.
Guerrilla Learning is $14.95.
T shirts are $17 for short-sleeved styles and $20 for long-sleeved styles.
Shipping prices and methods
U.S. addresses
Shipping is a flat $5 for 1-14 books and/or any number of shirts. We ship USPS Priority Mail or UPS ground--our choice.
Sorry, we do not offer rush shipping. You can usually get our books rushed by Amazon or another internet seller.
outside the U.S.
Canada
Unless you specifically request airmail and pay extra for it, we use surface
shipping. Shipping is a flat $8 per order (for any number of books and/or
shirts.) Please visit this page before
finalizing your order.

We ask that you calculate your own shipping cost.

What kind of money we like
We take personal checks, bank checks, money orders, and cash (not through the mail). U.S. funds only. If you want your stuff fast, don't send a personal check because we'll wait for it to clear. Sorry, no credit cards except through this website.

(Except that we routinely close for solstice, Christmas, fudge eating, snow angel making, and inventory taking, from approximately December 22 through January 2. And we sometimes close during part or all of Not Back to School Camp, which runs approximately August 21-September 12 each year. We also take occasional vacations at random times. Our voicemail will let you know if we're away.)

You can return your books if you don't like them, within one year, as long as they're still in new condition and you give us your original invoice number.
Quantity discounts for large book orders
For any of the following options you'll need to send us an order with a check or money order for full payment, through the U.S. mail.
If you order 15 or more copies of Lowry House books, you get a 30% discount. (We cannot give discounts for Guerrilla Learning, which is not a Lowry House book--it's published by Wiley.) You may mix and match our three titles. Please add 50 cents per copy for shipping in the U.S. We will most likely ship USPS media mail rate, but possibly priority mail or UPS ground. If you live in Alaska or Hawaii and want your books to arrive soonish, you can pay extra shipping--ask us for details.
For shipping outside the U.S., contact us for rates. They're not as bad as you might think--we can ship via slow boat (M-Bag) fairly cheap.
If you want to order a full case of any title, you get a 40% discount. (You can also add any number of copies of any of our other titles, in addition to the case, for the same 40% discount. For instance, you could order a case of Teenage Liberation Handbooks plus 2 copies each of Freedom Challenge and Real Lives, all at a 40% discount. Or a case of Freedom Challenge plus 10 additional copies of Freedom Challenge. Whatever.) U.S. shipping costs for the books in the case is $1 per book. If you order books in addition to the case, add $3 for the first copy, $1 for each one after that. Depending on where you live, we will ship your books media mail, priority mail, or UPS ground. If you live in Alaska or Hawaii and want your books to arrive soonish, you can pay extra shipping--ask us for details. Again, for shipping outside the U.S., contact us for rates.

You can do anything you want with quantity orders--give them away for unbirthday presents, use them to build a booby trap in your locker at school, sell them for a fundraiser for your trip to Antarctica or to Not Back to School Camp, or pass them out in detention.
