STOP Orders 
We do accept STOP and other prepaid orders. Our STOP discount is 40%. Shipping costs: For the first copy, add $2.50 for media mail, $5 for UPS ground or USPS Priority Mail (our choice). For each additional copy, add $2 regardless of the shipping method.

Credit/Payment 
         * First order must be prepaid.
      *Prepayment required until you have established credit with us.
         *To establish credit with us you must first place at least one prepaid order totaling $100 or more. After that you are welcome to apply for credit by supplying the names (and account numbers) of your three largest publisher accounts, plus one bank reference.
         *Once credit is established, terms are net 30 days, payable in U.S. funds.
       *For proper credit to your account, reference our invoice number and your customer ID when making payments. 
         * Accounts over 30 days late lose their credit status and must prepay in future.
   

Overstock Returns 
If you order under our returnable policy (40% discount regardless of the number of books), the following terms apply:      
          *Returns are accepted for full credit (except shipping costs) until 1 year after invoice date. No need to request authorization.
          *Returned books must be in new condition, with no price stickers or other markings, and no scuffing or other damage to the covers.
          *Our invoice # must be referenced.
          *If you can't provide our invoice #, we'll either ship the books back to you (at your expense) or (more likely) credit your account, but with a 10% reduction.
          *You may request credit or a cash refund. Credit is good for one year.
          *Please do not make deductions from our invoices based on your returns. We will process your returns and credit or refund your account promptly. When issuing credit, we'll send a memo for your records.

Quick Returns 
Books damaged in transit and incorrect shipments only: No authorization necessary. Damaged books and incorrect shipments must be returned within 30 days of invoice date, or credit cannot be granted. Return books to our street address. We will reimburse your return shipping costs, and will promptly reship your order.

Invoice Discrepancies 
must be reported by fax or mail within 30 days of invoice date. Discrepancies reported after 30 days cannot be adjusted.

       *Send us a copy of your most recent catalog, and put us on your mailing list so that we continue to receive catalogs (for as long as you want to qualify for our cataloger discount).  
    *Catalog copy must include an informative description, not just a list of titles.
    *Discount schedule includes our co-op advertising contribution.

Review copies
We are happy to send review copies. If you don't already have a cataloger's account with us, please send a copy of your catalog along with a written request for the titles you are interested in. 

Please Note

     * Prices are subject to change without notice. Please confirm all prices before publishing each catalog. We can guarantee prices for up to 6 months.
*We do not guarantee availability, but generally we keep all titles in stock.

Small Home-based Retail Businesses

We've established this category because there are many smallish businesses that like to sell our books. Usually, these are families or individuals who have been unschooling/homeschooling for a while and act as consultants and suppliers to other local families or individuals who are interested in unschooling/homeschooling. Typically, they keep copies of about 5-10 different books on hand for resale. If this describes you, or if you think you deserve to fit into this category even if it doesn't sound much like you, read on.

Your discount is 40%. You must order 10+ assorted books per order to receive this discount. The first 10 copies of any particular order are non-returnable. Any additional copies may be returned within one year. 

To be considered for this discount, you must send us a description of your business and a copy of at least two invoices from other vendors besides ourselves, showing bulk orders of books or other supplies. These invoices should be no more than one year old. 

If you cannot provide these materials, you are nevertheless welcome to order our books at a discount under the same terms as other non-business individuals--click here.

Public libraries and other recognized public institutions will generally be given credit (30 days net) starting with their first order (until and unless they default on a payment or pay more than 30 days late). For other non-profits:
